When you understand how pastels actually work β not just the strokes, but the why behind them β everything changes. You go from feeling lost to feeling capable. From frustrated to flowing. That's what these three days are about.
Each session, you'll join me live as we build this landscape together - a sunset breaking through a line of trees, warm light against a golden hour sky. You'll see how to layer color with intention, build depth, and trust your instincts along the way.
Everything is replayable. If you can't make it live, you'll have access to the recording and all materials for seven days. Or have it for a lifetime with VIP.

We start with what matters - paper, pastels, and why a mid-tone paper changes everything about how you build color. Then we'll lay the foundation of the piece: the sky, the glow of the light source. By the end of Day 1, you'll understand exactly why we start here.
Now we build the mountain, water, shoreline, and the layers that give this piece atmosphere. You'll learn how to move between warm and cool tones so the light feels like it's actually glowing, not just sitting on the page.
We define the trees, sharpen a few key edges, and add those final touches that make the piece feel finished. Texture is important and pushing your extreme lights and darks. We'll talk about what to practice next and how to trust yourself when you're painting on your own.

Artist, Instructor, Creative Mentor
Hi, I'm Andrea. I've been teaching pastel and painting for over twenty years, working mostly with people who are returning to art after putting themselves on the back burner for a while.
I know what it feels like to doubt yourself - and I know what happens when you get the right foundation and permission to make your own marks.
