DAY 1: FOUNDATION

We start with what matters - paper, pastels, and why a mid-tone paper changes everything about how you build color. Then we'll lay the foundation of the piece: the sky, the glow of the light source. By the end of Day 1, you'll understand exactly why we start here.
DAY 2: STRUCTURE AND DEPTH
Thursday, July 30 — 7:00 PM ET (Live with a replay available)
Now we build the mountain, water, shoreline, and the layers that give this piece atmosphere. You'll learn how to move between warm and cool tones so the light feels like it's actually glowing, not just sitting on the page.
DAY 3: BRINGING IT TOGETHER
Friday, July 31 — 10:00 AM ET (Live with a replay available)
We define the trees, sharpen a few key edges, and add those final touches that make the piece feel finished. Texture is important and pushing your extreme lights and darks. We'll talk about what to practice next and how to trust yourself when you're painting on your own.
